"Alone in Pain" is unleashed as another assault on your senses that kicks more ass than a little bit. Produced by The Tribe itself, mixed by Tom DeKorte in at Audio Garden Studio (Netcong, NJ Mar-May 2007) and mastered by John Seymour (U2, Santana) The Treefort Studio (Hoboken, NJ), “Alone in Pain” pushes VTT's groundbreaking sound farther than before. This album includes 10 powerful thrash/alternative/metal tracks with dark, catchy melodies, quality vocals and a ton of moxie. Finding something unique in this watered down metal world is not easy, but this is certainly a great example of a unique compilation with kick ass tight, sharp, ripping subterranean riffs, high pitched guitar licks, marching-off-to-war styled percussion, insane drums, powerful and solid melodic vocals darkened by brutal screams, bass attacks and unusual pretty acoustic fireside notes…This album is heavy and dirty, deep and nasty, dark and aggressive, tribal and painful but modern metal that will kick you all in the teeth and hit you all in the heads and stick with you all day long…!
