about

...In April 2011, Voodoo Terror Tribe once again entered the studio to start recording the new EP entitled “Stands to Reason”, but this time with a little bit different, maybe not afraid to say some industrial approach by adding some keyboards, sound effects and some synth on the new songs. The charismatic guitar demon and true force behind the band, Emir explains Voodoo Terror Tribe’s newest approach and sound; “We know the scene, and the scene knows us, but we’re coming at this in full force in a new way with a new sound.” "It feels like the culmination of what we've been doing for a long time as Voodoo Terror Tribe: power grooves, crushing guitars, catchy, but dark melodies, but taken to a new level," bassist Primer adds, "it's a natural progression from Symptoms of Sin, but different than anything on that record.” Voodoo Terror Tribe’s melodic-while-still-heavy, radio-ready-but-still-metal sound rides of the shoulders of the vocalist Gil Pz’s definition of what the band should be: “Voodoo Terror Tribe doesn’t bolster a false pretense of originality,” he says. “We worry about the songs being good first; originality comes second.”

Hailing from the working class Garden State of New Jersey – and armed with an equally blue-collar attitude of doing it on their own – and dedication to a melodically heavy brand of music, Voodoo Terror Tribe has high hopes for the near future. "We poured everything that we had and everything that we have become into our new sound and songs,” drummer T-Bone continues. “It was meticulous, grueling, stressful and insightful, but we found a new sound. It's been quite a long road, and now we wanna prove to the fans that it's all been worth it."

With the recently-released new EP “Stands to Reason”, that’s exactly what VTT has set out to do, including an upcoming time on that road and in venues, including some exciting things behind the scenes that will soon come to fruition. This is a torturous adventure into the unknown which you will be incredibly impressed with and it's all for your pleasure.

If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of this release. Now we have become Death, the destroyer of worlds…!

Track Name: Masquerade
Life is one big masquerade
Before all hopes begin to fade
Losing ourselves with our pride
Through the hidden lies inside

Truth is complicated when dead can talk
Truth is complicated when dead can not lie

It’s a masquerade out there somewhere
It’s a masquerade we have to bear
When chaos is what you choose
Humanity is what we all lose

As still trying to be loud
Sinking in a misguided crowd
All the shadows have left me
As I’m dancing a vicious masquerade

Truth is complicated when dead can talk
Truth is complicated when dead can not lie

It’s a masquerade out there somewhere
It’s a masquerade we have to bear
When chaos is what you choose
Humanity is what we all lose

There are times in our lives,
When nothing’s fair as we share
This is not fair at all
I deserve better for all

It’s a masquerade out there somewhere
It’s a masquerade we have to bear
When chaos is what you choose
Humanity is what we all lose
Track Name: Twenty12
When the church bells ring
(When they ring when they ring)
Hear the Devil Sing
(Hear 'im sing, hear 'im sing)

When they crush the ring
(The Fisherman's Ring)
We gonna crown the king

And when Old Nick come to turn his trick
Ain' no use a-praying! Yeah!

Hear the devil yell!
(Twenty-twelve twenty-twelve!)
Feign your farewells!
(Bloody Hell Bloody Hell)
On twenty-one-twelve
(Twenty-Twelve, Twenty-Twelve!)
We all goin' ta hell!
(Bloody Fucking Hell)

In the beastie bowels
(All harm all foul!)
The serpent scowls
(Sneaky scowl sneaky scowl)

When the hell-hound howl
(on the prowl on the prowl)
Better throw in the towel!

An' when Old Scratch come to slap your back
Time to hit the sack! Yeah!

Hear the devil yell!
(Twenty-twelve twenty-twelve!)
Feign your farewells!
(Bloody Hell Bloody Hell)
On twenty-one-twelve
(Twenty-Twelve, Twenty-Twelve!)
We all goin' ta hell!
(Bloody Fucking Hell)

Rebel Angel Yell!
(Twenty-twelve twenty-twelve!)
Feign your farewells! YEAH!
(Bloody Hell Bloody Hell)
On twenty-one-twelve
(Twenty-Twelve, Twenty-Twelve!)
We all goin' ta hell!
(Bloody Fucking Hell)

When its time to sign the dotted line
Spell yer name well! Yeah!

John (the Apostle)! Jump! Fucker!
Run! Fucking Jump! YAH!

Mark my words!
Believe the things that you've heard!
Cause when Old Serp
Come to thump you twerps
He gonna thin the herd!

Like when Old Hob
Went to fuck with Job
He giving GOD the bird!

Hear the devil yell!
(Twenty-twelve twenty-twelve!)
Feign your farewells!
(Bloody Hell Bloody Hell)
On twenty-one-twelve
(Twenty-Twelve, Twenty-Twelve!)
We all goin' ta hell!
(Bloody Hell Bloody Hell)

Rebel Angel Yell!
(Twenty-twelve twenty-twelve!)
Feign your farewells!
(Bloody Hell Bloody Hell)
On twenty-one-twelve
(Twenty-Twelve, Twenty-Twelve!)
We all goin' ta hell!
(Bloody Fucking Hell)

End is nigh, lets get fucking high
And watch ‘im burn the sky!
Yeah!
Track Name: Never Died Before (Re-Mix)
Brain, not bone
Gods we’ve grown
Sun has shown
We are not alone
We, born fools
Satan’s tools
Golden rules
Blood wells up in pools

Feed my fury
Till the will need not worry
Seek no justice
The law will not touch this
Calling upon
The despots of dawn
Speak & spawn
Gather and be gone!

Gather, be gone!

See the light
End in sight
Right makes might
We smile out of spite
Lust and glory
For gory allegory
The scratched steel of Doré
Tells the same story

Feed my fury
Till the will need not worry
Seek no justice
The law will not touch this
Calling upon
The despots of dawn
Speak & spawn
Gather and be gone!

Gather, be gone!

Sadness sought
Fought for naught
Bodhisattva taught
An ashtray astronaut

Madness finding
The truth you are finding
Babylon’s whore
Never died before!

Feed my fury
Till the will need not worry
Seek no justice
The law will not touch this
Calling upon
The despots of dawn
Speak & spawn
Gather and be gone!

Gather, be gone!
